I still depair at the thought that Wallingers White Horse is still going ahead. No objections with the size, site or subject but wher is the artistic measure in this. It is nothing more tha a very large example opf a model horse taken from a childs farmyard play set. Hardly inspirational.

Hi Monaco,

I'm afraid I don't know about supermarkets and pubs as I don't live in the area, although when I visited the gallery there wasn't much nearby except a corner shop. The best thing to do would be to go there and get a feel of the place, if you can. Also maybe you could look on Gumtree for potential flat shares, so you wouldn't be living on your own.

Good luck!

Hi

I wonder if you could help me with finding out if Hackney Wick is a kind of area you want to move in to for if you are a girl on your own. I don't know anyone who lives there and agencies don't tell the truth as they just want you to put the deposit down. Is there a supermarket near by? Good pub? The area looks edgy and cool but is it actually convenient place to have a normal living. If you could help me with this I'd much appreciate it..!! Help!

This current exhibition is an exciting concept encouraging artists to think "outside the box" - or in this case the envelope - to present innovative and challenging pieces which break with the safe and predictable norm seen elsewhere. Yesterday's PV was a packed event and the gallery must be applauded for their efforts in bringing together such an array of talents - 58 artists in all. The curators' boundless energy and enterprise do not end there, as the entire exhibition will be taken to Venice and displayed in a palazzo during the first week of the Biennale. This show is a must-see - either here or in Venice.
